ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

ACCA is the apex body for professional accountants The ACCA Qualification will provide you with skills and knowledge relevant to any business, which means you are free to choose which type of accountancy role and organisation you want to work for.

Who needs this course?

Anyone who wants to become a professional accountant and has the choice of working in any accountancy sector, either in your own country or abroad. There are three categories of students who can choose ACCA.

1. HSC (10+2), Intermediates  interested in Accounting Career
2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Masters degree in  Accounting and Chartered accountants
3. Experienced Professionals who want to reach the strategic management position in big organisations 

COURSE STRUCTURE

To qualify as an ACCA member, a candidate will be required to do the following:

• Attempt and clear 13 exams (ACCA does provide exemptions in some exams depending upon the candidate’s previous qualification)
• Record 36 months’ experience in a relevant role. The candidate can acquire experience before /during/ after completion of the qualification.
• Complete the Ethics and Professional Skills module.
