COURSE OVERVIEW
Airport ramp handling is a very sensitive job role which involves efficiently handling an aircraft on ground during turnaround. It involves specialized functions, such as cleaning the aircraft interior, servicing the toilet waste tanks and potable water tanks on aircraft, as well as loading the catering into the aircraft galleys.
This course is designed by IATA to familiarize learners with the many tasks that take place pre- and post-flight, and provide them with the foundation knowledge and skills on the processes that need to be followed by ground staff in order to turnaround an aircraft on the ground.
